Korean Language and Culture Camp "Silla Wave 2017"
Has Ended Succsessfully
Korean Language and culture camp "Silla Wave 2017" has ended succsessfully on August 12th.
Forty students from nine countries (Balarus, China, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Japan) took part in our 2 week program from July 30 to August 12.
The program of the camp was very diverse and intensive as “Silla Wavers” had Korean language classes, hands-on experiences of Korean Cooking, Traditional Costume Hanbok, Korean Traditional Pottery,Taekwondo, etc.
Participants of Silla Wave 2017 had also visited cultural, historical and tourist landmarks of Busan, as well Geojedo lsand, Oedo Botania, Ulsan City and other attractions.
On the last day of the camp, within the frame of the Closing Ceremony, the director of the Office of International Affairs of Silla University, Dr. Jeong Hae Young had distributed the participation certificates and suitable gifts to all "Silla Wavers".
Overall, this experience has brought a wonderful opportunity for broadening horizons, building international friendships and making our Silla family bigger. Our hope is to make it a tradition and welcome even more international students every summer!
